Camp Director

Will Fay

Will Fay, coach and manager of the Laconia Leafs JR "A" Hockey Team.

Will guided his program to a final four appearance in the 2004 Junior National Tournament, and has compiled an impressive record of 258-87-8 (.73 winning %) as a JR coach.

 In his eight years as head coach of the Leafs’, he fashioned a powerful won-loss record, winning 4 league championships, and bringing his teams to the National Championship Tournament 3 times. More impressive, Fay has seen over 120 of his former student-athletes advance to college & pro hockey. He was also recognized as the Hockey night In Boston “JR Coach of the Year” in 2004 and again in 2005.

Will has worked at numerous development camps, including USA Hockey's New England festival, and he has assisted with the NH entry into the prestigious Chicago Showcase High School Tournament as well.  In addition, Will assists with the local Lakes Region Youth Hockey Association.  Coach Fay is renowned in hockey circles for his focus & knowledge of SKILL development.

Will resides in Gilford with his wife Beth, and daughters Alexandra and Catherine.

Matt McGilvray

Coach Matt  McGilvray

TCH is pleased to announce coach Matt McGilvray as assistant camp director for the 2010 summer season.     Matt  is currently head coach of the Laconia Leafs JR "B" team, and assists with the Leafs JR "A" team.  McGilvray, a former Laconia Leaf, who helped lead the Johnson & Wales University team for 4 seasons, as well as playing minor pro hockey, is now part of Training Camp hockey.

Andrew Trimble

 

TCH is pleased to announce coach Andrew Trimble as assistant camp director for the 2010 summer season.    A former Laconia Leafs JR Player, and head of the Laconia Leafs Alumni Association, coach Trimble has kept close ties with his former JR team, and the Laconia community.  Some highlights of  coach Trimble's accolades...
